Who We Are

SHAMIM is a registered non-profit and non-governmental organization. Through reliance on social science research combined with theological and mystical teachings, our mission is to foster educational and advocacy programs designed to promote universal oneness by replacing the status quo world order.

We plan to achieve this mission by introducing the revolutionary concept of spiritual harmony as a replacement for the delusive global search for the societal goals we have come to value until now, like equality and unconditional happiness. This ideal harmony can only exist when the circumstances of the world allow it to occur organically.

SHAMIM uses scientific and theological findings as a basis for proposing unprecedented global policy changes, as well as to support our proposed UN resolutions. In the spirit of transparency and the dissemination of our mission, we will share all of our findings with people around the world through our numerous platforms and movements.

“Stronger than a thousand armies is an idea whose time has come.”

-Oscar Wilde

The Problem and Approach

As it stands, the world is a place of conformity and division, as opposed to unity and symbiosis. Though we are a globalized society, we have not yet been able to identify the common purpose of our existence, regardless of the various ethnicities, religions, and races that comprise us.

We live in a chaotic and imbalanced state, which can be traced back to two main causes. In governance, we see misplaced and disjointed Power and Authority– the first cause; our societies are shaped with structural models based on normative science – the second cause, which presuppose policy preferences that serve only a small minority. These models have shaped society in the same way that they have shaped our minds, based on tradition and inherently limited thinking.

Considering we have so many preconceived notions based on generations of incorrect education, our mission must remain to rectify our imbalances, which can be achieved through the identification and execution of common global goals serving our common purpose. These omnipresent imbalances are both external – political, economic, social – as well as internal, as evidenced by the imbalances within our bodies and between our brain hemispheres.

“Humanity is going to require a substantially new way of thinking if it is to survive.”

-Albert Einstein

The Limitations of Common Methodologies

Conventional science, while invaluable to human progress in our understanding of objective reality, is limited to the perceptions and intellectual capacity of the human brain. These limits include the inability of the brain to know the extent of that capacity itself. The realm of scientific findings is always evolving and never complete; conventional science has not been able to adequately explain certain subjective realities, such as consciousness or the purpose of life.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

-Margaret Mead

Our Solution and Approach

At SHAMIM, we propose modifications to current norms based on our extensive research and revolutionary findings. We seek to update the policies and the structural models of normative science with new norms that will benefit everyone – including elites, minorities, and special interest groups – without compromise. This model is based on the practices of King David and exists ubiquitously in nature and we hope to emulate it.

In terms of pragmatic action, SHAMIM seeks to replace the linear hierarchies of the world with a spiral modality. The spiral modality is a hybrid between the linear (Authority) and the circular (Power) modalities – namely, an upwardly ascending helix that will ensure the natural growth of a unified and inclusive society.

By eliminating political obstructions and clarifying the ideological misconceptions that divide mankind, we can come together and function harmoniously in a stable, effective, and prosperous manner. This result has failed to occur under any form of government, including democracy, throughout history.

“Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.”

-Albert Einstein

Our grounds

After several years of study, SHAMIM has completed extensive interdisciplinary research in various fields, including neuroscience, biology, quantum physics, hermeneutics, and exegesis of mystical and sacred texts and religious scriptures. We have explored art, semantics, and more. The purpose of this research is to further develop and support our mission. All of our research and subsequent findings will be entirely available to the public; we prioritize transparency in the spirit of our pursuit.

“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”

-Nelson Mandela

The Main Challenges

Attaining a lasting and universal spiritual harmony can only be achieved through a simultaneous top-down and bottom-up transformation on a global level. We are all interconnected and share a collective consciousness. Thus, our external world and our internal system are also interconnected. Society shapes our individual brains, and in turn, our brains shape our society, as in a closed feedback loop. This is the first challenge.

The second challenge is in realizing that many of the great states and experiences for which we strive, such as health and happiness, as well as harmony and balance, cannot be pursued, but instead occur naturally as a result of the right circumstances. Creating the circumstances that we propose would not necessarily make sense for us rationally, given the effects of traditional education on our collective psyche. But we will feel the spiritual and tangible results as soon as we perform the necessary actions and we create the necessary circumstances. Just as one cannot learn to balance on a bicycle based on theoretical teachings, mankind cannot learn to find balance without the actions and experiences that set the correct path. We must implement our ideas before we can witness their effects.

Implementation of Harmony

Like our need to pedal harder on a bicycle when riding uphill, implementing these proposals will require work if we are to ascend. Once set in motion, the spiral modality will provide a natural momentum similar to what we observe in nature. While our society continues to progress toward a more harmonious system, our internal system – namely our 78 organs – will work more efficiently in concert, yielding a higher production of electrical power, a larger cardiac electromagnetic field, more oxytocin (the love and bonding hormone), more dopamine (supporting learning new behaviors), and more atrial peptide (anti-stress hormone). This harmonious state will enable the sustainable development of the immune system, a more energized body, and a fresher scent. All of this will lead the brain to perceive and operate on a higher level of consciousness.

All life grows in accordance to the mystical concept of the “Love Number Series,” which was labeled the “Fibonacci Number Series” by the scientific community in the year 1187. The love number series, based on the sacred geometry pattern is known as the “Golden Ratio” or “Divine Proportion,” appears in the foundation of art, beauty, music, population growth, family trees of honeybees, microtubules, DNA, and more. There will be a viral, spiral-like domino effect as more people adopt this lifestyle, as each person’s cardiac electromagnetic field and scent will affect those of the next.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

-Mahatma Gandhi

Why should we bother?

There are many reasons why the SHAMIM mission must thrive. One of the media and world’s biggest concerns is with regard to atomic bombs as nuclear weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). While they require a complex infrastructure and are limited in their destructive ability, the diffusion of information on nano- and biotechnology, which is widely accessible, has resulted in new types of WMDs alongside nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons. These are able to create self-multiplying viruses that can wipe out entire civilizations with relative ease. The advancement of conventional science has made technology more powerful in the distribution, timing, and scale of its effects, thereby creating enormous unforeseen threats to the public. One could even order a basic drone on the internet and lace it with powerful explosives to inflict mass harm.

At SHAMIM, we embrace scientific advancement by developing scent-based techniques for human betterment. The nature of the soul has been connected in many belief systems throughout history and cultures to a human’s scent and breath. We believe that the fragrance of our soul (represented in numbers as a frequency) can be diminished due to our behaviors and lifestyles, which also affects nature. One of the consequences of this is the Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) seen in bees, in which the majority of worker bees abandon a given colony, leaving the queen bee behind (> 50% in some regions).

So, what does this mean for us?

“If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would have only four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man.”

-Albert Einstein

Innovation

We plan to harness technology that focuses on the importance of human scent and breath as part of the larger pursuit of spiritual harmony. With an array of nanoscale sensors, we will be able to detect the individual components of breath by measuring its scent and composition by analyzing the results using artificial intelligence. The array will help us classify and diagnose both physical and spiritual conditions. Monitoring the effects of our personal and collective lifestyle choices will allow us to diagnose diseases early and, in some cases, prevent them altogether. Mass spectrometry can identify our breath components at any moment, as our health condition produces a unique volatile chemical breath-print.

Akin to modern analytical systems such as Big Data and Deep Learning, we can monitor and compare our individual and group breath-prints on a global scale. These numerical scores will come together to form a global performance index, resulting in large-scale collaboration as opposed to fruitless competition. Just as we are all interlinked in one consciousness, we also inhabit the same atmosphere, which is why the growth of the individual is limited or facilitated, in large degree, by the ascension of our collective spirit. Individual progress leads to collective progress.

Progress Toward Oneness

At SHAMIM, we plan to achieve oneness by erecting new, needed changes in global policy, as well as through UN resolutions and other social and political movements. These methods seek to lift the barriers that keep society stagnant and drive wedges among us. Ultimately, through the achievement of spiritual harmony – an infinite betterment journey of self and world – we can also elicit individual harmony, which in turn will improve and elevate each soul, our collective consciousness, and the planet as a whole.

“To rectify the world, we need to rectify our brains, which requires a rectified world. Therefore, rectification is a journey and not destination.”

-R. B.

Act Today

True enlightenment requires a revolution in the way we think, and so, it also requires the reshaping of our brains. This means that we must change our lifestyles dramatically in order to experience spiritual harmony. To make these changes, society must take steps toward radical shifts in our cultures, such as overhauling education systems and re-evaluating social mores and political ideas. How can this all begin to happen? With new leadership.

“The brains of our leaders determine our lives and the lives of our progeny.”
